StillFire Brewing Strikes Gold at the 2025 U.S. Open Beer Championship
Suwanee’s own StillFire Brewing has once again proven that world-class beer can be found right in our backyard. At the prestigious 2025 U.S. Open Beer Championship — a competition that drew over 8,000 beers from breweries nationwide — StillFire walked away with not one, not two, but three gold medals.
From Hawaii to Maine, breweries across the country submitted their best in more than 170 categories. The judges, among the most respected palates in the industry, blind-tasted their way through every style imaginable. In the end, StillFire’s brew team rose to the top with standout gold medal wins for:
• Suwanee Devil: Belgian-Style Strong Specialty Ale
• Hoochie Momma: Cream Stout All That Razz: Fruited Wheat Beer
• All That Razz: Fruited Wheat Beer
“This national recognition is a testament to the passion, creativity, and nonstop hustle of our brew team,” says StillFire General Manager Aaron Bisges, “They pour their hearts into every batch, and we couldn’t be more proud.”

MEET THE MEDALISTS
• Suwanee Devil – Belgian Golden Strong Ale (9.7% ABV) A tribute to Belgium’s post–World War I brewing renaissance, this deceptively smooth ale delivers pear and apple aromas, a hint of white pepper spice, and an expertly hidden kick of alcohol. Inspired by a historic beer so drinkable it earned the nickname “the devil,” Suwanee Devil is both dangerously delicious and unmistakably refined.
• Hoochie Momma – Milk Stout (7.0% ABV) Fresh off its silver medal win at the World Beer Cup, StillFire’s celebrated stout wowed judges once again. Bold yet silky, this beer layers flavors of creamy chocolate, toffee, coffee, and biscuit, rounded out with a touch of milk sugar for balance. Think of it like an espresso with cream — smooth enough to sip, rich enough to savor.
• All That Razz – Imperial Raspberry Berliner Weisse (7.5% ABV) This refreshingly tart creation pairs bright citrus-like acidity with the sweet, fruity depth of raspberry syrup in a nod to traditional Berliner brewing. Light on hops but full of personality, it’s a vibrant balance of sour, sweet, and unforgettable flavor.
