HAMMERS & HEDGES ’24

As HUGE football fans our brewing team was on the hunt to craft the perfect crisp beer to enjoy while watching the Georgia Bulldogs beat the Alabama Crimson Tide. We reached across the border and partnered with our friends at Yellowhammer Brewing and did just that! Hammers and Hedges was brewed with a Pilsner malt base that results in a clear golden beer. We started Old School and bittered it with Magnum hops then called an audible and ran an option using multiple additions of Mandarina Bavaria and Motueka in the kettle and the fermenter. The result was a 5.2% ABV lager that is clean and crisp but at the same time pleasantly aromatic. The best of old and new worlds the best of Georgia and Alabama as well as the best flavors all in one glass. This is the handshake before the coin toss.
