At StillFire we have a fire for brewing innovative beers and are all about inspiring people to pursue their passions. When he’s not enjoying a Glory Haze, one of our Founders club members Mike Burke is out on the ice playing a game that he loves, and we are honored to help fuel his fire by being his team’s official sponsors! The average age of players on his team is 60-65 with the oldest active player (and a damn good defenseman) being the impressive age of 72!! The team participates in both a winter and summer league and plays at least once a week at a local hockey arena (sometimes twice a week in the summer months)! The same guys play both seasons, and the team is so high in demand that they even currently have a waitlist of guys looking to join! Open league allows any player from the age of 18 to 80, so oftentimes these guys are playing against teams that are all under 30! The hockey team is an inspiration to our staff and everyone who knows them, and we hope that we can continue to have as much heart and passion at their age!
