The best part of brewing in the 2000s is that someone is always introducing a cool, new hop. Grown in a region known for grapes in Alsace, France, Barbe Rouge literally translates as "Red Beard". In order to showcase the unique hop flavor and aroma, we crafted the malt base to be both flavorful and slightly fuller in body than some of our other lighter ales. With a delicate mixture of citrus zest, stone fruit and ripe red berry flavor and aroma, this Barbe is intriguing, unique, and subtle.
