StillFire Brewing was once home to Gwinnett County Fire Station 13, better known as the “Fighting 13.” In honor of their bravery and contributions to the community, the first beer ever brewed at StillFire was the Fighting 13 Red IPA. Now, the brewery is once again honoring their former tenants by releasing a limited taproom-only Double Fightin’ 13 Imperial Red IPA. Like the original, brewers made 13 additions of centennial hops (including a double dry hopping) for this special imperial red IPA. The result is a delicious treat that balances the pine, resin, grapefruit and floral notes of the hops with a rich caramel and toasted malt.
