HAMMERS AND HEDGES

As HUGE football fans, our brewing team was on the hunt to craft the perfect crisp beer to enjoy while watching a game. We partnered with our friends at Yellowhammer Brewing and did just that! Hammers and Hedges was brewed with a light malt base that results in a clear golden beer when it is cold conditioned the way the Kölsch brewers do. We used three new cool hop varieties (Taiheke, Meridian, and Grüngeist) that are contemporary hybrids bred from old classics. The result was a 5.9 ABV smooth ale that is clean and crisp but at the same time pleasingly aromatic. The best of the old and new worlds, the best of Georgia and Alabama, as well as the best of flavors all in one glass.
