Social Media Manager / Content Creator Job Description
StillFire Brewing is seeking an experienced and creative Social Media Manager / Content Creator to join our team. As a Social Media Manager you will be responsible for working with the marketing team to develop and implement the social media marketing plan for all StillFire Brewing’s (SFB) social channels. You will be working closely with our marketing team and taproom staff.
Social Media Manager duties and responsibilities
- Work with marketing team to develop, implement and manage the social media strategy and execution for SFB.
- Weekly content brainstorms in order to develop content that drives engagement, brand advocacy and lifetime customers of StillFire Brewing.
- Curate photos, videos and content for social posts and stories
- Manage a monthly paid social advertising schedule based on marketing budget.
- Defining most important social media KPIs and regularly measuring and reporting social media results against goals (ROI), communicating with team and creating reports/insight data.
- Reputation management to include responding to Facebook and Instagram messages as well as online reviews.
- Working with team to create and publish web content and keeping it up to date.
- Work with marketing and creative team to develop e-mail campaigns and blog content development in line with marketing strategy.
- Seek out brand advocates and creating special customer moments that lead to retention.
- Regularly attend taproom events to capture social media content.
- Attend off-site events SF is participating in to promote brewery.
- Cross promotion with restaurants & package stores.
- Research and vet emerging social platforms and trends to ensure that SFB is reaching target customers through the proper platforms and taking advantage of the latest platform features and consumer trends.
- Collaborate with Creative, Operations and Brewing teams
- Other duties as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of brewery operations and information.
Social Media Manager requirements and qualifications
- 1 – 2 years experience as Social Media Manager or similar role preferred
- Excellent knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest and other social media best practices
- Creative with a love for storytelling
- Strong photography & videography skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, written and presentation skills
- Familiarity with social media marketing tools such as Hootsuite
- Practical knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
- Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
- Good understanding of social media KPIs
- Familiarity with web design
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to efficiently multitask and prioritize while paying close attention to detail
- Thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- BA degree in Marketing or similar relevant field
